Let \((X,d)\) be a metric space and \(\mu\) a measure on the Borel \(\sigma\)-field which is finite and positive on balls. For \(0< p < 1\), this paper deals with continuity properties of selectors for the set of best approximations in \(span\{\chi_B\}\) for ball \(B = B(x_0,r_0)\), in \(L^p(X)\). It is known that a measurable selection exists. When the measure of the boundary of the ball is zero, it is shown that the selectors are upper or lower semi-continuous at \(x_0\), respectively.
