Recall that a commutative ring \(R\) has property (A) (after \textit{J. A. Huckaba} and \textit{J. M. Keller} [Pac. J. Math. 83, 375--379 (1979; Zbl 0388.13001)]) if every finitely generated ideal of \(R\), consisting entirely of zero-divisors, has a nonzero annihilator; the ring \(R\) has property strong-(A) (after \textit{N. Mahdou} and \textit{A. Rahmouni Hassani} [Mediterr. J. Math. 9, No. 2, 393--402 (2012; Zbl 1298.13004)]) if every finitely generated ideal of \(R\), which is generated by a finite number of zero-divisor elements, has a nonzero annihilator. Given two ring homomorphisms \(f : A \rightarrow B\) and \(g : A \rightarrow C\), and \(J \) (resp. \(J'\)) an ideal of \(B\) (resp. \(C\)) such that \( f^{-1}(J) = g ^{-1}(J')\), in the present paper the authors study the transfer of the notions of (A)-ring and strong (A)-ring in the construction of the bi-amalgamation (after Kabbaj, Louartiti and Tamekkante [\textit{S. Kabbaj} et al., J. Commut. Algebra 9, No. 1, 65--87 (2017; Zbl 1390.13008)]) \(A \bowtie^{f,g} (J, J')\) of \(A\) with \((B,C) \) along \((J, J') \) with respect to \(( f, g)\). Note that, by means of the previous construction, new original examples of rings satisfying these properties are also given.
