The author studies the nonlocal dynamics of a model simulating two weakly coupled oscillators with nonlinear delayed feedback of the form \[ \dot u_0 + u_0 = \lambda F(u_0(t - T)) + \gamma(u_1 - u_0), \] \[ \dot u_1 + u_1 = \lambda F(u_1(t - T)) + \gamma(u_0 - u_1), \] where \(u_0\) and \(u_1\) are scalar variables, \(\lambda, T,\) and the coupling coefficient \(\gamma\) are positive parameters (\(\lambda\gg1,\) \(0<\gamma\ll1\)), and the sign-changing nonlinear smooth function \(F\) is compactly supported, that is, this function is identically zero outside the interval \([-p,p]\) (\(p\) is some positive constant). Using the asymptotic method of a large parameter, the author reduce the problem of existence and stability of periodic relaxation solutions of the original infinite-dimensional system to the study of the dynamics of the constructed finite-dimensional map. The asymptotic formulas for the cycles of the original system are constructed and show the relation between the period of the cycle of the original system and the period of the corresponding cycle of the constructed map.
