The work addresses a system of four coupled Maxwell-Bloch (MB) equations in one dimension, which is a model of a laser cavity with a low quality factor (Q-factor), based on the Fabry-Perot resonator with a distributed feedback. The laser cavity supports two distinct self-locked superradiant continuous-wave modes. By means of systematic numerical simulation of the coupled MB equations, the work identifies a regime in which parametric interaction of the two cavity superradiant modes through the four-wave mixing (inter-mode beats) gives rise to trains of stable traveling dissipative solitons in the cavity. In this way, the solitons are generated without the use of any specially introduced mode-locking technique, which makes a difference from usual models.
