Let \((X, 0)\) be an isolated weighted homogeneous complete intersection singularity of dimension one and \(f : (X, 0) \to (\mathbb{C}^{2} , 0)\) be finite map germ, one-to-one and weighted homogeneous with the same weights of \((X, 0)\). The main result of this paper is Theorem 5.4, where the authors prove that \(\mathcal{A}_{e}\text{-codim}(X, f) = \mu_{I}(f)\), where \(\mathcal{A}_{e}\text{-codim}(X, f)\) is defined in the sense of [\textit{D. Mond} and \textit{J. Montaldi}, Lond. Math. Soc. Lect. Note Ser. 201, 263--284 (1994; Zbl 0847.58007)], the image Milnor number is defined as the number of vanishing cycles in the image of a stabilization of \(f\), in other words, the number of vanishing cycles in the image of a stable perturbation \(f_{s}:X_{s} \to B_{\varepsilon}\), where \(B_{\varepsilon}\) is a ball of radius \(\varepsilon\), \(\varepsilon > 0\), centered at the origin in \(\mathbb{C}^{2}\), and `stable' means that \(X_s\) is smooth and \(f_s\) is stable in the usual sense. In this theorem the authors also show important relations between the image Milnor number of \(f\), the delta invariant of \(X\) and the image Milnor number of \(f \circ \alpha\), where \(\alpha\) is a parametrization of \(X\), and also relations between the \(\mathcal{A}_{e}\)-codimensions of these same objects.
