Let \(G\) be a group and \(\mathrm{Aut}(G)\) be the full automorphism group of \(G\). Then \(L(G)=\{x\in G\mid \alpha(x)=x,\ \forall \alpha\in \mathrm{Aut}(G)\}\) is said to be the absolute center of \(G\), and \(\mathrm{Var}(G)=\{\alpha\in\mathrm{Aut}(G) \mid x^{-1}\alpha(x)\in L(G),\ \forall x\in G\}\) is called the autocentral (or the absolute central) automorphism group of \(G\), which is denoted by \(\mathrm{Aut}_{z^{*}}(G)\) in this paper (see the review on [\textit{M. Singh} and \textit{D. Gumber}, Math. Notes 107, 863--866 (2020; Zbl 1460.20004)], for more details). Moreover, an automorphism \(\alpha\) of \(G\) is called an \(IA\)-automorphism if \(x^{-1}\alpha(x)\in G'\) for all \(x\in G\), where \(G'\) is the commutator subgroup of \(G\), and \(IA(G)^{*}\) denotes the group of those \(IA\)-automorphisms that fix the center of \(G\) elementwise. In this short paper, some results on the structure of a finitely generated group \(G\) for which the above subgroups of \(\mathrm{Aut}(G)\) are isomorphic to the inner automorphism group of \(G\) are given.
