Rank-one perturbations of matrix pencils (Q2199351)

In this paper, the problem of characterizing the Kronecker structure of a matrix pencil obtained by a rank-one perturbation of another matrix pencil if solved. Specifically, for two matrix pencils \(A(s), B(s) \in F[s]^{p\times q}\), the necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of a matrix pencil \(P(s)\in F[s]^{p\times q}\) of rank\((P(s))=1\) such that \(A(s)+P(S)\sim_{s.e}B(s)\) are given.
