The notion of \(n\)-Jordan homomorphism was introduced by \textit{I. N. Herstein} [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 81, 331--341 (1956; Zbl 0073.02202)]. The author corrects the statements of the main results given by \textit{Sh. G. Ghaleh} and \textit{Kh. Ghasemi} [Bull. Iran. Math. Soc. 39, No. 2, 347--353 (2013; Zbl 1309.39015)] and proves the corrected results, which improve some results obtained by Eshaghi Gordji, Karimi and Gharetapeh [\textit{M. E. Gordji} et al., J. Inequal. Appl. 2009, Article ID 870843, 8 p. (2009; Zbl 1162.39017)] and Miura, Takahasi and Hirasawa [\textit{T. Miura} et al., J. Inequal. Appl. 2005, No. 4, 435--441 (2005; Zbl 1104.39026)]. The author, moreover, proves the hyperstability of \(n\)-Jordan homomorphisms in \(C^*\)-algebras. The results are useful for researchers on the theory of functional equations and stabilty.
