The authors generalize a classical realisation of \(\operatorname{End}(V)\) as a Lie algebra of linear vector fields in \(n=\dim V\) validables to the case where \(V\) is an infinite-dimensional topological vector space with a countable basis. They also introduce an analog of Killing form for such setup. A number of examples of such Lie algebras of linear vector fields is presented, including the twisted Heisenberg-Virasoro and the Schrödinger-Virasoro Lie algebras. Finally, the authors construct an embedding of an arbitrary topological separable locally convex Hausdorff algebra into the Cuntz algebra \(\mathcal{O}_{\infty}\) (see [\textit{J. Cuntz}, Commun. Math. Phys. 57, 173--185 (1977; Zbl 0399.46045)] for details on Cuntz algebras).
