A modified Monty Hall problem (Q2202227)

The paper reports on a laboratory experiment on learning the optimal strategy for the Monty Hall problem (MHP). The authors conducted an experiment where subjects repeatedly played the MHP for 30 rounds. In the treatment group subjects played the 100-door MHP for 15 rounds and then the 3-door version for 15 rounds, whereas in the control group subjects played the 3-door version for two times 15 rounds. They observe that the switching probability is significantly higher for subjects in the treatment group.
