In the paper under review the author studies the non--homogeneous hyperbolic equation \[ (\square_{k,\gamma})^m_{x,t} u(x,t) = f(x,t), \qquad x\in \mathbb{R}^n_+, \ t>0, \] where \((\square_{k,\gamma})_{x,t}=(B_k)_t -(\Delta_\gamma)\) and \[ (B_k)_t=\frac{\partial^2}{\partial t^2}-\frac{k}{t}\frac{\partial}{\partial t}, \qquad (\Delta_\gamma)_x=\sum_{i=1}^n \frac{\partial^2}{\partial x_i^2}-\frac{\gamma_i}{x_i}\frac{\partial}{\partial x_i} \] are the Bessel operators. The author developed the technique of hyperbolic Riesz B-potentials and used them to derive the solutions. Essentially, those potentials replace the Euclidean metric in \(\mathbb{R}^n\) in the classical Riesz potential, by the Lorentzian metric. However, the hyperbolic potentials are more involved than just replacing the metric, the kernel is more convoluted in this case and it acts on weighted generalized functions.
