Isometric immersions $\ell:\Sigma^3=B^2\times_f F^1\to S^6$ from a compact warped product Lagrangian submanifold $\Sigma^3$ into the six-dimensional sphere with the standard nearly Kählerian structure are studied. It is proved that, if the Laplacian $\Delta f$ and the gradient $\nabla f$ of the warping function $f$, defined on the base manifold $B^2$, satisfy some special inequalities: \[ \|\nabla f\|^2+2f\Delta f>2f^2\quad\text{or}\quad 2\|\nabla f\|^2+5f\Delta f>2f^2, \] then the stable integral 2-currents or 1-currents, respectively, do not exist in $\Sigma^3$. It is also proved that the inequality \[ \|\nabla f\|^2+2f\Delta f>2f^2 \] is a sufficient condition for $\Sigma^3$ to be homotopic to the three-dimensional sphere.
