      The zeta and zeta-star values (MZVs and MZSVs) are, respectively, defined as \[\begin{aligned} \zeta\left(k_{1}, \ldots, k_{r}\right) &=\sum_{0<n_{1}<\cdots<n_{r}} \frac{1}{n_{1}^{k_{1}} \ldots n_{r}^{k_{r}}},\\ \zeta^{*}\left(k_{1}, \ldots, k_{r}\right) &=\sum_{0<n_{1} \leq \cdots \leq n_{r}} \frac{1}{n_{1}^{k_{1}} \cdots n_{r}^{k_{r}}}. \end{aligned}\] The cyclic sum formula for MZSVs states that \[\sum_{l=1}^{r} \sum_{m=1}^{k_{l}-1} \zeta^{*}\left(m, k_{1+1}, \ldots, k_{r}, k_{1}, \ldots, k_{l-1}, k_{l}-m+1\right)=k \zeta^{*}(k+1),\] (here \(k=k_1+\cdots+k_r\)), and a similar formula holds for zeta values. A finite (star) MZV is a finite sum of the form \[\begin{array}{l} \zeta_{\mathcal{A}}\left(k_{1}, \ldots, k_{r}\right):=\displaystyle\left(\sum_{0<n_{1}<\cdots<n_{r}<p} \frac{1}{n_{1}^{k_{1}} \cdots n_{r}^{k_{r}}} \bmod p\right)_{p}, \\ \zeta_{\mathcal{A}}^{*}\left(k_{1}, \ldots, k_{r}\right):=\displaystyle\left(\sum_{0<n_{1} \leq \cdots \leq n_{r}<p} \frac{1}{n_{1}^{k_{1}} \cdots n_{r}^{k_{r}}} \bmod p\right)_{p}. \end{array}\] There is a so-called cyclic analogue of these finite (star) MZVs, and in the present paper the above mentioned cyclic sum formula is generalized to this setting.
