Banach compactness and Banach nuclear operators (Q2210819)

In the present paper, the authors introduce the following new three notions: \begin{itemize} \item[(1)] uniformly weakly Banach-compact sets, \item[(2)] uniformly weakly Banach-compact operators, \item[(3)] uniformly weakly Banach-nuclear operators, \end{itemize} which are natural generalizations of the well-known concepts of \begin{itemize} \item[(1')] \(p\)-compact sets, \item[(2')] \(p\)-compact operators, \item[(3')] \(p\)-nuclear operators, \end{itemize} respectively. These new sets of operators are studied in depth, especially some fundamental properties are investigated, and factorization theorems and duality results for such operators are given. By using injective and surjective hulls, the authors show that the new classes of uniformly weakly Banach-compact uniformly and weakly Banach-nuclear operators are quasi Banach operator ideals.
