The purpose of this article is to obtain identities for reductions of hyperelliptic integrals of genus 3. The basic tool is the second degree Cauchy-Schlömilch transformation \(u=x+\frac 1x\), whose inversion gives two values of \(x\) depending on the interval of integration. The paper is heavily dependent on the computation of the roots of a polynomial of eighth degree, which leads to three different kinds of roots. In each of these cases, a specific notation for the integrals is invented, which is used to derive transformations to complete elliptic integrals of the first kind. Then, Roberts integrals are computed by using Lauricella functions of three or four variables establishing connections with hypergeometric functions of one variable and Appell hyperegeometric functions. As a corollary, relations between Lauricella functions and the two latter functions are derived, which are checked by \texttt{Mathematica}.
