The paper under review deals with simple Lie algebras of dimension \(7\) over algebraically closed fields of characteristic \(2\). There is a manuscript cited in the references in the references entitled ``Simple Lie algebras of toral rank over a field of characteristic two''. I could not find it on the internet, so I would refer to this article: [\textit{G. Jurman}, J. Algebra 271, No. 2, 454--481 (2004; Zbl 1054.17007)] in order to have for example the definition of the Witt-Zassenhaus algebra and of the basis denoted by \(\{y_i\}\). In this paper, the authors prove that any simple \(7\)-dimensional Lie algebras of absolute toral rank \(3\) over an algebraically closed field of characteristic \(2\) is either the Witt-Zassenhaus algebra \(W\) or the Hamilton algebra \(H_2\) (theorem 3.1). The tools used here are classical calculations on Lie algebras, and of representations of Lie algebras, and it also uses Skryabin's Theorem.
