The authors discuss the homogenization of a linear parabolic problem describing linear diffusion and localized linear consumption of nutrients in an unbounded cell. The localized consumptions are constrained to a periodic net of regularized Dirac distributions. The passage to the periodic homogenization limit is done while combining two small parameters vanishing simultaneously: \(\varepsilon\) -- the homogenization parameter and \(\delta\) -- the regularizing parameter of the Diracs.
