In this paper, the author has studied and investigated several congruences covering trinomial coefficients. The author has generalized some earlier congruences involving trinomial coefficients and also attained a supercongruence for trinomial coefficients. See \textit{M. Apagodu} and \textit{J.-C. Liu} [``Congruence properties for the trinomial coefficients'', Integers 20, A38, 10 p. (2020; Zbl 1458.11044)].
