The paper considers a quasiperiodically driven quantum parametric one-dimensional oscillator governed by the Hamiltonian \(\mathcal H\) given by \[ \mathcal H = \frac{p^2}{2m}+\frac{1}{2}m\omega^2 x^2(1+\epsilon f(t)), \] where \(m\) stands for the mass of the oscillator, \(p\) and \(x\) are its momentum and coordinate, respectively, and \(\omega\) stands for the frequency of the vibration. The restoring force is modified by the quasiperiodic function \(f\). It has been shown that for such oscillators, the instability zones of the mean position and variance for a time developing wave packet are identical for the strongest resonance in the three-dimensional parameter space of the quasiperiodic modulation as it is for the two-dimensional parameter space of the periodic modulations. This result has been established using perturbation theory and accurate numerical analysis.
