This paper deals with the classification of three-dimensional convex polytopes with certain regularity properties. A vertex \(v\) of a three-dimensional polytope \(P\) is called a symmetric rhombic vertex if the following holds. The star of \(v\) (the set of faces containing it) consists of \(n\) congruent rhombi having at \(v\) either all an acute or all an obtuse angle, and \(v\) lies on a rotation axis of \(P\) of rotation order \(n\). Then \(P\) is said to be an \(RS\)-polytope if \(P\) has at least one symmetric rhombic vertex and at least one face containing no symmetric rhombic vertex, and each such face is locally symmetric (that is, its star has a nontrivial axial symmetry). Similarly, \(P\) is an \(RR\)-polytope if `locally symmetric' is replaced by `regular'. Theorem 1 states that there are (up to similarity) precisely \(9\) \(RS\)-polytopes, and they are described explicitly. This classification is based on earlier work of the author [Chebyshevskiĭ Sb. 17, No. 4(60), 132--140 (2016; Zbl 1373.52015)]. Further, two \(RR\)-polytopes are constructed.
