The classical Weyl character formula describes the character of a simple finite- dimensional module over a Lie algebra in terms of characters of modules which are easy to compute. The specialization of this formula to the case of a trivial representation are called the denominator identities. Till now these identites were not investigated in the case of classical finite-dimensional Lie superalgebra \(\nu(n)\). In the paper under review the authors ``state and prove two different denominator identities for the periplectic Lie superalgebra, namely for two nonconjugate Borel subalgebras \(b^{\text{thick}}\) and \(b^{\text{thin}}\).''
