For \(p,q\in(1,\infty)\), let \(F_{p,q}:[0,1]\to[0,\frac{\pi_{p,q}}{2}]\) be defined by \[ F_{p,q}(x):=\arcsin_{p,q}(x):=\int_{0}^{x}(1-t^q)^{-1/p}{\operatorname d}t \] and \(\pi_{p,q}:=\arcsin_{p,q}(1)\). The corresponding inverse function \(F_{p,q}^{-1}:[0,\frac{\pi_{p,q}}{2}]\to[0,1]\) is the generalized \((p,q)\)-sine function, denoted by \(\sin_{p,q}\). For \(r\in[0,1)\), let \[ {\mathcal K}_{p,q}(r):=\int_{0}^{\pi_{p,q}/2}(1-r^q\sin_{p,q}^{q}t)^{1/p-1}{\operatorname d}t \] be the complete \((p,q)\)-elliptic integral of the first kind, which is a generalization of the classical elliptic integral of the first kind, \[ {\mathcal K}(r):=\int_{0}^{\pi/2}\frac{{\operatorname d}t}{\sqrt{1-r^2\sin^2t}}, \] where \(p=q=2\). In this paper, the authors prove some monotonicity properties for \({\mathcal K}_{p,q}(r)\) with respect to \(r\) cumulating in upper and lower bounds for that function.
