In [Qual. Theory Dyn. Syst. 16, 69--702 (2017; Zbl 1390.37022)] \textit{T. Sun} and \textit{H. Xi} showed that the depths of continuous maps of dendrites with the number of branch points being finite are at most 3. In this paper the authors show that the depth of continuous maps of dendrites with unique branch point is at most 2.
