Some new inequalities for the weighted geometric mean \(A\# _r B\), for \(A\), \(B\) accretive and \(r \in ( - 1,0) \cup (1,2)\), are studied. Inequalities for \(r \in [0,1]\) are already known. Among other results, it is shown that \(\operatorname{Re}(A\#_r B)\leqslant \operatorname{Re}A\#_r\operatorname{Re}B\), \(r\in(-1,0)\cup(1,2)\).
