The main objects of study in this paper are certain linear combinations (with constant coefficients) of components of the curvature operator on pseudo-Riemannian manifolds, that the authors call ``generalized projective \(\mathcal P\)-curvature tensors''. Several observations are made regarding pointwise geometric (curvature) properties of manifolds on which this tensor is traceless, or divergence free, including some comments in the special case of 4-dimensional spacetimes satisfying Einstein's field equation.
