A Dirac bundle is an Euclidean bundle over a Riemannian manifold which carries an algebraic Clifford structure on each fiber. The authors introduce a sort of twistor equation in this framework and prove some vanishing result and find a nontrivial solution in the case of spheres. The first part of the paper analyzes twistor bundles and gives many preparatory results on these kind of bundles (subbundels, orthogonal complements, irreducible case...). Later in this section a Weitzenböck operator is studied in details. The next section considers some vanishing results about the space of sections under suitable hypothesis on the curvature. This result is needed in order to obtain several propositions on the positiveness of the Weitzenböck operator. Later, the twistor equation is introduced and studied as well as its sections. In the last part the case of a Clifford bundle is studied into detail. The paper is really interesting and detailed.
