For any \(\delta>0\) and \(\lambda\in\mathbb{C}\), let \(B(\lambda,\delta)\) denote the open ball centered at \(\lambda\) and of radius \(\delta\). For any \(0<\sigma<1\), let \(\Gamma_{\delta}(e^{i\theta})\) be the polynomial convex hull of \(\{e^{i\theta}\}\) and the ball \(B(0,\sigma)\). Let \(\Omega\) be a connected region contained in the open unit disc \(\mathbb{D}\) and such that the unit circle \(\mathbb{T}\) is contained in \(\partial\Omega\), the boundary of \(\Omega\). Let \[\partial_{so}\Omega:=\{e^{i\theta}\in\partial\Omega:\exists 0<\delta<1,\,\Gamma_{\frac{1}{2}}(e^{i\theta})\cap B(e^{i\theta},\delta)\subset\Omega\}.\] Let \(m\) denote the normalized Lebesgue measure on the unit circle \(\mathbb{T}\), and \(\mu\) be a finite positive Borel measure supported in a compact subset \(K\) of \(\mathbb{C}\) such that \(\mu|\mathbb{T}=m\). For any \(1< t<\infty\), let \(R^t(K,\mu)\) denote the closure in \(L^t(\mu)\) of rational functions with poles off \(K\). Let \(\mathrm{abpe}(R^t(K,\mu))\) denote the set of its analytic bounded point evaluations, and \(\lambda\mapsto k_\lambda\) be its reproducing kernel. In the paper under review, the author shows that, if \(\mu(\partial_{so}\Omega)>0\) and \(R^t(K,\mu)\) is irreducible such that \[\mathrm{abpe}(R^t(K,\mu))=\Omega\text{ and }K=\overline{\Omega},\] then \[\lim\limits_{\Gamma_{\frac{1}{4}}(e^{i\theta})\ni\lambda\to e^{i\theta}}(1-|\lambda|^2)^{\frac{1}{t}}\|k_\lambda\|_{L^{\frac{t}{t-1}}(\mu)}=\frac{1}{h(e^{i\theta})^{\frac{1}{t}}}\] for \(\mu\)-almost all \(e^{i\theta}\in\partial_{so}\Omega\).
