The author considers a particular class of nonsymmetric cones that are used for the characterization of feasible sets of conic optimization problems. This paper deals with those geometric properties of such cones that are related to sensitivity analysis and optimality conditions of an underlying semidefinite optimization problem. Moreover, the author applies these results to a particular convex conic optimization problem.
