The 2D unsteady laminar flow of micropolar fluid over a surface at absolute zero of temperature is studied in the paper. Let the \(x\)-axis is directed along the surface of a fluid and the \(y\)-axis is normal to it. The \(x\)-component of the velocity \(u\), the \(y\)-component \(v\), the pressure \(p\), the angular velocity \(N\) and the fluid temperature \(T\) satisfy to the equations \[ \begin{array}{l} \frac{\partial u}{\partial x}+\frac{\partial v}{\partial y}=0, \vphantom{\begin{array}{c}I\\ I\end{array}}\\ \frac{\partial u}{\partial t}+u\frac{\partial u}{\partial x}+v\frac{\partial u}{\partial y}+ \frac{1}{\rho}\frac{\partial p}{\partial x}=\frac{\mu+\tau}{\rho} \frac{\partial^2 u}{\partial y^2}+\frac{\tau}{\rho}\frac{\partial N}{\partial y}, \vphantom{\begin{array}{c}I\\ I\end{array}}\\ \frac{\partial N}{\partial t}+u\frac{\partial N}{\partial x}+v\frac{\partial N}{\partial y}= \frac{\gamma}{\rho j}\frac{\partial^2 N}{\partial y^2}-\frac{\tau}{\rho j[1-e^{-at}]} \left(2N+\frac{\partial u}{\partial y}\right), \vphantom{\begin{array}{c}I\\ I\end{array}}\\ \frac{\partial T}{\partial t}+u\frac{\partial T}{\partial x}+v\frac{\partial T}{\partial y}= \frac{1}{\rho}\frac{\partial }{\partial y}\left(k\frac{\partial T}{\partial y} \right)+ f(x,y,t)+g(x,y,t)T. \end{array} \] Here \(\rho\) is the fluid density, \(\mu\) is the dynamic viscosity, \(\tau\) is the micro-rotation viscosity, \(\gamma\) is the spin gradient viscosity, \(j\) is the micro-inertia density, \(k\) is the thermal conductivity, \(a\) is a positive constant which corresponds to stretching rate of the surface, functions \(f\) and \(g\) characterize the heat source. \par The equations are rewritten using the stream function and solved numerically via a certain spectral method.
