The authors established a one-to-one correspondence between static space-times and Riemannian manifolds that maps causal geodesics to geodesics. They have explored constant curvature space-times -- such as the de Sitter and the anti-de Sitter space-times -- and find that they map to constant curvature Riemannian manifolds, namely the Euclidean space, the sphere and the hyperbolic space. They studied the radial motion of particles and the motion of light rays in the equatorial plane on some non-constant curvature space-times (namely the Schwarzschild, Schwarzschild-de Sitter and Schwarzschild anti-de Sitter space-times and also a wormhole spacetime) by visualizing the corresponding 2-dimensional Epstein manifolds.
