    An \((n+1)\times (n+1)\) matrix \(A = (a_{ij})\) is called \((k, \ell)\)-pentadiagonal if \(a_{ij}= 0\) only when \(|j - i| = 0, k, \ell\). Any \((n+1)\times (n+1)\) matrix of the form \[ \begin{pmatrix}a_{0}&a_{-1}&a_{-2}&\cdots &\cdots &a_{-n}\\a_{1}&a_{0}&a_{-1}&\ddots &&\vdots \\a_{2}&a_{1}&\ddots &\ddots &\ddots &\vdots \\\vdots &\ddots &\ddots &\ddots &a_{-1}&a_{-2}\\\vdots &&\ddots &a_{1}&a_{0}&a_{-1}\\a_{n}&\cdots &\cdots &a_{2}&a_{1}&a_{0}\end{pmatrix} \] is called a Toeplitz matrix. The author provides explicit formulae for the eigenpairs of imperfect Toeplitz matrices when \((n + 1)/2 \le k\). Imperfectness means that the first and last \(k\) elements of the main diagonal differ from the elements in the middle. A numerical example is given. The study is a continuation of the author's very recent work [\textit{C. M. da Fonseca} and \textit{L. Losonczi}, Ann. Univ. Sci. Budap. Rolando Eötvös, Sect. Comput. 51, 39--50 (2020; Zbl 1474.15068)].
