A generalized Howell design, \(t\)-GHD\(_k(s; v; \lambda)\), on the \(v\)-set \(X\) is an \(s \times s\) array; each cell is either empty or contains a \(k\)-subset of \(X\) (a block), each symbol appears exactly once in a block in each row and in each column, and each \(t\)-subset of \(X\) appears in at most \(\lambda\) blocks. In this paper, the existence of doubly resolvable 3-GDDs of types \(3^n\) and \(6^n\) is determined, thereby determining the spectrum of GHD\(_2(3n-3; 3n; 2)\)s and GHD\(_2(6n-6; 6n; 2)\)s. These existence results are employed to yield several new classes of multiply constant-weight codes.
