In this paper, the authors study existence results for evolution equations with superlinear growth. Usually, the nonlinear term is \(f:[0,T]\times E\rightarrow E\). However, the authors study the case \(f:[0,T]\times E\rightarrow F\), with different Banach spaces \(E\) and \(F\). This comes from a concrete nonlinear heat equation and is very interesting. To overcome the difficulty, the authors apply the Leray-Schauder continuation principle and the technique of approximation to derive the existence of solutions for evolution equations. Moreover, some conditions on the operator \(A\) are required in this paper. Especially, the condition (A2) holds, i.e., the semigroup \(\{S(t)\|_{t\geq 0}\) generated by \(A\) in the Banach space \(E\) can be extended to a semigroup in \(F\). A simple example of \(A\) that satisfies this condition is the Laplace operator subjected to the Dirichlet boundary conditions as in Example 3.1.
