      The authors study the free motion of a particle between two vertical rigid walls when one of the walls moves and its position is determined by a doubly continuously differentiable periodic function of time. It is assumed that the particle is reflected elastically when hitting the walls. Such a system and its different modifications have been a subject of study in many papers, where the authors were mostly interested in finding invariant curves and sets. In this paper, the authors apply the Aubry-Mather theory and prove that the system can admit periodic and quasi-periodic motions. The existence of the Aubry-Mather sets takes place under more weak requirements for the wall motion, in comparison to other papers. All steps of the study are clearly described.
