The theory of gyrogroups was discovered sufficiently recently and now it is developing actively. A topological gyrogroup is a gyrogroup equipped with a topology such that the binary operation is jointly continuous and the inverse mapping is also continuous. A topological gyrogroup \(G\) is said to be a strongly topological gyrogroup if there exists a neighborhood base \(\mathscr U\) of the gyrogroup identity such that for each \(U\in \mathscr U\), \(\mbox{gyr}[x,y](U)=U\) for all \(x,y\in G\). In this article, according to uniformities in topological groups, the authors introduce three uniformities \(\mathscr V_{G}^{l}\), \(\mathscr V_{G}^{r}\) and \(\mathscr V_{G}\) in strongly topological gyrogroups \(G\) and show that \(\mathscr V_{G,H}^{l}= \mathscr V_{H}^{l}\), \(\mathscr V_{G,H}^{r} =\mathscr V_{H}^{r}\) and \(\mathscr V_{G,H}=\mathscr V_{H}\), if \(H\) is a subgyrogroup of \(G\). Moreover, the authors extended some well-known results of topological groups to strongly topological gyrogroups. It is proved that every compact strongly topological gyrogroup has property \(U\). Finally, the properties \(\omega\)-\(U\) and \(B\omega\)-\(U\) are investigated and the authors find that a strongly topological gyrogroup has property \(B\omega\)-\(U\) if and only if it has property \(\omega\)-\(U\).
