The author considers the density problem in Sobolev spaces. For $k \in \mathbb{N}$ and $1 \leq p \leq \infty$, denote $W^{k,p}(\Omega)$ to be the $k$-th order Sobolev space and $L^{k,p}(\Omega)$ to be the $k$-th order homogeneous Sobolev space. A domain $\Omega$ is called $\delta$-Gromov hyperbolic if the geodesic triangle with respect to hyperbolic geodesic $k_\Omega$ is $\delta$-thin. The main theorem reads: Theorem. Let $0 \leq \delta < \infty$, $k \geq 1$ and $1 \leq p < \infty$. If $\Omega \subset \mathbb{R}^n$ is a bounded $\delta$-Gromov hyperbolic domain, then $C^\infty(\Omega) \cap W^{k,\infty}(\Omega)$ is dense in $L^{k,p}(\Omega)$. In particular, if the $\partial\Omega$ is $C^0$-continuous, then $C^\infty(\mathbb{R}^n) \cap W^\Omega$ is dense in $L^{k,p}(\Omega)$. There are series of articles in the field. The first one is [Arch. Ration. Mech. Anal. 222, No.~1, 1--14 (2016; Zbl 1360.46030)] by \textit{P.~Koskela} and \textit{Y.~R.~Y. Zhang}, where they proved for a simply connected planar domain $\Omega \subset \mathbb{R}^2$ that $W^{1,\infty}$ is dense in $W^{1,p}$, and if the domain is Jordan, even $C^\infty(\mathbb{R}^2) \cap W^{1,\infty}(\Omega)$ is dense. Then, Koskela, Rajala and Zhang proved a similar result for $\delta$-Gromov hyperbolic domains in high dimensional Euclidean spaces, see [\textit{P.~Koskela} et al., Nonlinear Anal., Theory Methods Appl., Ser.~A, Theory Methods 154, 189--209 (2017; Zbl 1371.46028)]. As we know, planar simply connected domains are $\delta$-Gromov hyperbolic. After that, Nandi, Rajala and Schultz proved the result about the density for homogeneous Sobolev spaces on planar domains, see [\textit{D.~Nandi} et al., Potential Anal. 51, No.~4, 483--498 (2019; Zbl 1442.46026)]. Now, the author has generalized the result to $\delta$-Gromov hyperbolic domains in high dimensional Euclidean spaces.
