The authors consider a coupled Stokes-Darcy system on a bounded 2D or 3D domain. The free flow can be governed by steady Stokes equations, and the porous medium flow is described by primary Darcy equations. When discretized the system by finite element method, the authors use the Taylor-Hood finite element pair for the Stokes equations and respectively the quadratic finite elements for primary formulation of Darcy equations. They assume a regular and quasi-uniform triangulation, with uniform mesh size for both domains, porous and free flow. Then they carry out a convergence analysis of Robin-Robin domain decomposition method. It is based on the techniques of the discrete harmonic extension and discrete Stokes extension. A numerical experiment which verifies the geometric convergence rate of the algorithm with realistic values of the Robin parameter is displayed.
