Raşa's problem concerning Bernstein polynomials and convex functions was open for about 30 years. An affirmative solution was found in 2017 by \textit{J. Mrowiec} et al. [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 450, No. 2, 1144--1147 (2017; Zbl 1402.26007)]. After their paper was published, a series of improvements appeared. The paper under review delivers a contribution in this direction. It is shown that the inequality connected with the generalized problem of Raşa given by the above mentioned authors remains valid for a large class of operators of Bernstein type. These are the Lototsky-Bernstein operator, Baskakov operator, Mirakyan-Favard-Szasz operator, and the Meyer-König-Zeller operator.
