In this paper, the authors introduce the generalized Bach tensor \(B^t\) (\(t\in \mathbb{R}\)) on a Riemannian manifold \((M,g)\). It is defined as the Euler-Lagrange equations of some energy functional that depends on the curvature and the Weyl tensors. When \(B^t\) vanishes, the manifold \(M\) is called \(B^t\)-flat. In this work, the authors establish several rigidity results for \(B^t\)-flat manifold with positive constant scalar curvature. In particular, when the dimension of \(M\) is 4, all the \(B^t\)-flat manifolds satisfying some inequality must be of positive constant sectional curvature. Also several rigidity results are obtained in terms of the Yamabe invariant and for complete manifolds.
