Orthogonality from group characters (Q2238464)

The paper contains results about orthogonal and self-dual group codes defined over abelian groups. In addition to the results, the paper is a well-written summary of linear codes defined over groups, i.e. as ideals of group algebras over finite fields. Additionally, the authors introduce orthogonality through more than one perspective to the reader and they also use examples, which makes reading the paper enjoyable. The paper contains three main results: Theorem 9, Theorem 16 and Theorem 17. All theorems, as well as auxiliary results (lemmas) are proven clearly in a short way.
