The article under review deals with two new orthogonality relations in normed linear spaces, based on two particular modifications of the angular distance. The authors illustrate that the newly introduced notions of orthogonality are indeed different from one another, and also from some of the other previously established notions of orthogonality in the normed setting. Some basic properties of these two notions are also explored, mostly from the perspective of numerical estimation. It is well-accepted that several concepts of orthogonality play an important role in uncovering the geometric patterns hidden in the setting of normed linear spaces. Therefore, the introduction of two new orthogonality relations should enrich the geometric theory of normed spaces.
