The authors prove the convergence of a non-overlapping Schwarz method with Robin transmission conditions for a very general decomposition of a DDFV (Discrete Duality Finite volume) discretized anisotropic diffusion problem into many subdomains including cross points. It is remarked that the Robin parameter can be optimized separately for primal and dual grid components in DDFV. The analysis presented in this work reveals that primal and dual meshes might be coupled using different optimized Robin parameters in the optimized Schwarz methods. Both the separate and coupled optimization of Robin transmission conditions are presented and parameters which lead to the fastest possible convergence in each case are derived. Some numerical examples are presented to support the theoretical results.
