The author describes the images of multilinear polynomials \(P_n\) of arbitrary degree evaluated on the \(3\times 3\) upper triangular matrix algebra \(UT_3\) over an infinite field. He proves a conjecture of himself and \textit{P. S. Fagundes} [Oper. Matrices 13, No. 1, 283--292 (2019; Zbl 1432.16023)] for \(n=3\). Theorem 2. Let \(K\) be an infinite field and \(f\in P_n\). The image of \(f\) in \(UT_3\) is either \(UT_3\), \(J\), \(J^2\) or \(\{0\}\), were \(J\) is the Jacobson radical of \(UT_3\).
