The reviewed paper discussed the approximate controllability of the system both theoretically and through numerical simulations. Based on the operator semigroup method, a finite difference method and the conjugate gradient method, detailed proof of the approximate controllability and numerical solution of the system are given for the case when the memory kernel is nonconstant and bounded. Controllability of the system is a fundamental problem in the control theory. It is the premise of system controller design. For the parabolic integrodifferential equation with the memory kernel to satisfy the weak condition, a limited number of papers discussed this topic. Herein a new and more effective method is proposed, which makes up for missing the related theory. The paper is well organized and the proof seems right. The numerical simulation is enough.
