Let \(k\) be a field and let \(G\) be a group acting on a small category \(C\) over \(k\). In this paper, the authors prove that \(C\) is resolvable by a category which is \(G\)-\(k\)-equivalent to it. First, the authors review the relevant facts and use the resolving category for Hochschild-Mitchell homology and cohomology. Then, they prove that if the coinvariant and the invariant functors are exact, then the coinvariants and invariants of the Hochschild-Mitchell (co)homolgy of \(C\) are isomorphic to the trivial component of the Hochschild-Mitchell (co)-homology. Finally, the authors provide a general frame for monomorphisms and generalize previous works.
