For a linear topological space \(X\), \(X \neq \emptyset\), the author considers the linear topological space \( X^{X} \) of all functions from \(X\) into \(X\) with the usual addition and multiplication by scalars and with Tikhonov topology. Let \[ \mathcal{A} = \{a \in X^X: a \text{ is additive}\}\;\text{ and } \;\mathcal{B} = \{a \in \mathcal{A}: a \text{ is discontinuous and } a \circ a = id_{X}\}. \] The author considers the following two sets. The first of them is the set of all \(a \in \mathcal{B}\) such that \(a(H) \setminus H \neq \emptyset\) for every uncountable set \(H \subset X\) which is linearly independent over \(\mathbb{Q}\) and the second one is the set of all elements \(a\) of \(\mathcal{B}\) such that \(a(H) = H\) for a basis \(H\) of the vector space \(X\) over \(\mathbb{Q}\). It is proved that both are dense in \(\mathcal{A}\).
