Complete entrainment of Kuramoto oscillators with inertia on networks via gradient-like flow (Q2249244)

This paper considers a network of Kuramoto phase oscillators with inertia on an arbitrary (although symmetric and connected) network. The focus is on deriving conditions under which complete entrainment eventually occurs. A number of different classes of initial conditions, distributions of intrinsic frequencies, network connectivities and values of inertia for which entrainment occurs are given explicitly. The results are obtained by writing the system as a gradient-like one.
