Let \(\Omega\) be a pointset of size \(5\leq n \leq 9\) in a projective plane \(\mathrm{PG}(2,\mathbb{K})\) defined over an algebraically closed field \(\mathbb{K}\). The authors give a complete solution of the coset intersection problem relative to \(\Omega\), which is described briefly in the next paragraph. In essence the solution is split in two parts, when \(\Omega\) contains three collinear points (section 3) or does not (section 4). Some preliminary results are given in section 2. The coset intersection problem relative to \(\Omega\) consists in find all the irreducible cubics \(\mathcal{F}\) in \(\mathrm{PG}(2,\mathbb{K})\) for which \(\Omega\) is a coset of a subgroup of \((\mathcal{F},+),\) the group of \(\mathcal{F}.\)
