The authors develop a modified mathematical model of physical and chemical processes occurring in a multicomponent structure of a Li-ion battery module. The improved automation procedure significantly reduces the computational time for solving model equations and removes the chance of human errors during the pre-processing step which opens a wide range of possibilities for further practical applications.
