    The book by Garcia et al. ``Model-Based Control of Networked Systems'' is a nice compendium of knowledge for modern control model based methods. Among many issues, stability, delays, various feedback methods (output, intermittent, stochastic, event triggered) are considered. Also, quantization, nonlinear, optimal control find authors attention. Part II of the book deals with control systems performance and particularly with: Optimal control of model based event triggered systems, the use of the lifting techniques, reference input tracking, adaptive stabilization of networked control systems, multirate and distributed control systems. Hence, the book is very interesting and can be suggested for colleagues interested in control theory and somewhat to applications as covers many of important control problems.
